This post is late. It’s been a little over a year since I officially became a freelance writer in 2014. I’ve done a lot, made my fair share of mistakes and I know for a fact I absolutely still love freelance writing!
My passion and desire for blogging and creating content has not waned. If anything, I’m more excited at what the next year will take me now that I have my course Write Your Way to Your First 1k close to launching!
You’re a new freelance writer.
You’ve read tons of articles, posts, seen videos and webinars and you have it all figured out. But, one things missing – you haven’t landed your first client.

I don’t know about you, but I typically average around $500 per month from each of my recurring blogging clients. So, how did I double this with a client I recently landed?

You check your email one last time and suddenly you see a response to a freelance writer pitch you sent. You can’t believe it. You read the email and see the prospective client is interested in your blog writing skills and wants you to start next week.

Having a freelancing project management system isn’t a sexy topic. There’s no way you can make money from it and it actually can be a big time waste if you’re disorganized and don’t have a proper system in place for your projects.
