Yes! Christian writing can absolutely pay.
I think a lot of freelance writers assume faith-based publications only accept volunteer submissions or unpaid devotionals, but that’s really not true anymore.
There are actually quite a few Christian magazines out there for Christian writers.
For this niche, pay isn’t that high but it’s still worth it to gain clips for your samples and eventually land a few Christian writing jobs.
Publications pay anywhere from $50 to several hundred dollars per article, and some larger Christian magazines pay even more for reported features and inspirational storytelling.
